Kevin Richards is Founder and Chairperson of the Bermuda Innovation & Technology Association (BITA) and Managing Director of Bermuda Asset Management. He is a governance and regulatory strategist focused on aligning innovation, capital formation, and infrastructure development within regulated jurisdictions.
His work centers on structuring environments in which public authorities, regulators, institutional investors, and technology leaders can collaborate on durable, compliance-aligned initiatives. With experience spanning digital finance, financial services, energy transition frameworks, and public–private coordination, he operates at the intersection of policy dialogue and implementation design.
Mr. Richards previously held senior roles supporting Bermuda’s positioning as a jurisdiction for regulated innovation and has served on statutory and industry boards within the island’s maritime and economic development sectors. His background includes commercial leadership experience within global institutions and formal governance training through the Institute of Directors.
Under his leadership, BITA functions as a convening and infrastructure catalyst platform—translating cross-sector dialogue into structured pilot initiatives across digital systems, health innovation, climate-aligned infrastructure, and emerging technology governance.
